Backup Media Error

I have received the following error:

Job ended: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 at 2:42:13 AM
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa00084ea - End of media was reached.
Final error category: Backup Media Errors

I haven't been able to find any info on this error and would like to know any possible causes/solutions. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's just what it says....the backup reached the end of the tape.

What size tapes are you using?
Are you using an autoloader or a single tape device?
How much are you backing up?
Are you appending or overwriting?

You might want to search this forum for other posts about needing additional tapes for backups.
