1.The activity log lists a small number of files from the "My documents" folder citing "sharing violation". What could be so special about these files?

2.Unable to open file:WINNT\security\temp.edb file EC=File not found
I gather this file is created temporarily to hold log entries while Active Directory log files that are full are being newly created. Is it possible, that it was backed up as a system file, and at subsequent backups when it is not present Arcserve regards it as a missing system file?

I am using full backup - clear archive bit.

Are you performing a Dynamic Backup(FULL green) or a static (partially green) backup....

select the whole of "My COmputer" ....

So it Shall be Done!!

I tried both. After removing the files with "sharing violation" and unchecking the directory WINNT/security, I got a finished job. However later some other system files seemed to be missing at the time Arcserve was trying to back them up.
