backup for /opt/nsr

Hi guys,

Would like to seek your expertise on an issue which has been bugging me.

We have /opt/nsr partition on the Production backup server replicated on SAN disk to be mounted on our DR server in the event of a DR.

The DR server has its own /opt/nsr partition backing up clients outside of the Production backup server.

In the event of a DR where the Production server’s /opt/nsr is mounted to the DR server, will the backup still work given that the enabler code and hostid comes from the Production server and now the /opt/nsr partition has been mounted to the DR server?

This will work for two weeks. If you mount /nsr on another machine, hostname and resources (licenses) are tight to the wrong host and you have to do a host transfer to request new auth codes.
