Hey Guyz .. maybe you could give some advice.

I have 3 servers.
ExchangeServer
SqlServer
VeritasServer - Have a autoloader

*We are using BackUpExec ver 8.6 for Windows NT/2000 Server

and I have this Veritas Licences.
1 SqlAgent
1 Exchange Agent
1 IDR
1 Remote Agen
1 BackupExec DataCenter
1 OFO

I have already installed some components on the following Server.

On SqlServer.
BackUpExec DataCenter
SQLAgent
and a Remote Agent running as Services/Component

On ExchangeSErver
BackUpExec DataCenter
Exchange Agent
and a Remote Agent running as Services/Component

On VeritasServer
BackUpExec DataCenter
RemoteAgent
IDR
OFO

the thing is that when I try to look at backup exec besnum.txt. I see the ff.

This is components on SQLServer(BE8.6)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Datacenter Server Edition
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx SQL Server 2000 Agent
*and Remote Services as component.

This is components on ExchangeServer(BE8.6)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Datacenter Server Edition
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Exchange 2000 Agent
*and Remote Services as component.

and on VeritasServer(BE8.6)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Datacenter Server Edition
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Remote Agent
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Open File Option
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Intelligent Disaster Recovery

-with autoloader

the objrective is to centralized the bakcup of ExchangeServer and SqlServer on the VeritasServer autoloader.

locally on the ExchangeServer Backup Exec i can see the
C$
D$
Exchange Directory
Exchange Info. Store
Exchange MailBoxes

locally on the SqlServer BackUp Exec i can see the
C$
D$
MS SQL Server

but when i try to backup the both server on remote selection
I can only see the C$ and D$ of both server. Why is this?

I dont want to use/check the OFO option because both ExchangeSErver and SQlServer has an agent installed on it. I just want the database of both Server.

Need Help .. thanks

Jery

You are in the wrong forum. You will need to go to the Backup Exec forum.

Very nice - Sarcasm is always appreciated, or not! Please check which forum you are in before making comments that are uncalled for and very unprofessional.

You are in the NetBackup forum and you need to post your questions in the BackupExec forum as that is the product that you are using.

forum481 You.

guyz,,
