Backup Exec is Beating me!

Hi,

We are currently running Backup Exec V8.5 on a (windows 2000 network sp2).

We also have 2 Snap servers, and are experiencing the following:

When Backing up the Snap servers the Log Files report that Backup Exec try's the remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 on every folder.?

I also seem to be getting errors like the following when backing up Windows 2000 Servers, :

Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 is incompatible with the Backup Engine.
Please upgrade the Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000

Unable to initialize Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 - Performing standard backup

Where should I start? What would any of you guys recommend?

Since the snap server is more unix then win2k I would try putting on the unix agent. I am not for sure but this is were I had my problem. I only have an older snap so this my be wrong information.
you may try not putting on an agent just some thoughts.
