Backup Exec failing for users Mailboxes

I'm using BE v.8.5 w/Exchange module (exchange 5.5) and get an "access denied" error when trying to backup individual mailboxes--global public/private works fine. This was working months ago and something along the way killed it--any suggestions/advice is appreciated!

Check the permissions of the Exchange containers and ensure that there is a user in there that is also used for backing up (like Backup Admin or whatever).

We had the same problem after a server crash.
Veritas help desk came with the right solution.
If you want I can tell you the solution they gave.
