Backup Exec. 9.1 and USB tape drives

Just bought a new HP USB Dat72 drive for the server and veritas does not see it. I've got the latest drivers with no luck. Its on a Windows 2000 SP4 server and windows finds it. Any suggestions??

9.1 doesnt support USB Tape drives

Thanks for your help. But I'm not seeing where USB is not supported in 9.1.

The drive you have is not listed in the HCL in 9.1 so its not supported. Its listed in the 10.1 HCL and is supported.

Just do a search in each PDF file for USB or look for your drive.
