Backup Exec 8.6 error for backup on the second partition

The error reads:

Storage device "ARCHIVE 1" reported an error on a request to write data to media.

Error reported:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check).


This error is for drive D:

Drive C: fully backups with no errors.

Both Drives are local. Most of the Data is on Drive D. The server is Windows 2000.

The Drive is an ARCHIVE Python SCSI Sequential Device
