Hello all,
I am looking for what the best practice is to backup our switch currently we use LD43 and rotate the media cards. we have a signaling server in the switch which has a pcmia slot can i download the SS config from this slot? also what is the best practice for backups? ....as always thank you!

so is that all the information that LD43 provides? also wondering about the signaling server and its configuration? is that also provided in with the ld43 (EDD)data?

the sig server config is not in ld43. The only thing to back up in the sig server is the gatekeeper (NRS) database if you have one. There is really no configuration in the sig server itself. when you first build a sig server, there is an option to back up some of the configuration data to help you rebuild but that is really just the IP addresses. So LD43 for the call server and the nrs database is all you need to back up.
