Hi all

We are testing the water with Netbackup 6.0, but can not see how you configure or install the client backup software.
All I want to do is backup some files on a remote Win2k Server, but not sure how this is done. Other software that I have used either does not require a client or a client may be pushed from the backup Server.

Any help would be much appreciated as our contractor provided us with litle documentation and no trainig.

Thanks

David

You can push the client agent to the client or just simply install the CD into the client and install the software. There is nothing special or magical about this.

Visit and check out the client install guide.

There should be a docs folder on the install CD that has all of the manuals in *.pdf files.

Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.
