Does anyone know how I can go about storing a users outgoing and incoming mail, even if they delete the mail I can still have a copy of that mail on the Exchange Server?
This is on Exchnage 2000.

Journaling (called "message archival" in Exchange 2000) is set on the mailbox store object

Check there. The help file should tell you more once you find the check box. Dan

Is there a way to just message archive just one users mailbox store instead of the whole group? I tried making another storage and then another mailbox store it gave me an error saying that is was at the mailbox store maxmium and didn't allow me to add more.

Upgrade to Enterprise if you want another mailbox store.

Not really a 100% sure way of getting all mail for one user without using journaling on a store. Dan

You could set up 'Deleted Item Retention' on your information store so your users could recover deleted items through Outlook. This setting would be in affect for all users but it beats searching through backup tapes.
