Backing up from the client?

I am new to the Networker.
If I understand right majority of backups are happing from server app. In that way Networker server is backing up Networker client at scheduled times.

Am I correcst?

If so, in what instances you would back up from the client?

You can do this as well. There are GUIs and command linie utilities. In fact, a server-initiated backup is nothing else but a remotely client-initiated backup.
