Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any suggestions as what I need to do to make a list of all my Internet Explorer Favorites list. Must be an easy way to export them for backup purposes...anysoftware someone can reccommend that does this?
Thanks for your help.

I do not know of any software to do this, but I can walk you through doing it yourself. This is the reader's digest condensed version so if you need further explanation(sp?) let me know.

Goto My Computer
C:Documents and Settings
"Your User Name"
My Favorites
Hit CTL-A to select all
Hit CTL-C to copy

Goto My Computer
C:Create a directory called "Backup" or whatever you want to call it
Go into the directory you just created
Hit CTL-V and watch the favorites copy

You now have a backup copy of your favorites.

This does allow ANYONE who uses the computer to see your favorites. If you do not want anyone to see your favorites then on the second part create the Directory in your
My Documents folder.

You could also write a simple batch file to do this or a VBScript.

Let me know if you need any more explanation.

You can also use the export function in IE to export you r favorites in the form of an html file. This is quick and easy. use file, inport export to do this.
