Hi guys

Wondered if someone could give me a pointer ... I guess I've missed a simple step.

I have one NT Cluster license and am trying to manually backup the physical node and the virtual exchange server, but am told;-
"cant grant license to virtual_exchane_server_name too many clients maximum is one"

I am only trying to backup the one physcial node but I guess it is currently seing the phsyical and virtual nodes as 2 nodes rather than one.

My backup cmd is;-
nsrxchv.exe -a exchangeserver -c nodename

If any one does something similair successfully then maybe you'd be kind enough enough to give me some pointers.

Andy

Hello Andy,

just some questions to your environement:

- How many NWM exchange licenses you have installed/activated?
- How many vitual/physical exchange server you have defnied as client (for exchange backup) in the Networker?
- How many physical MS Cluster members you have?
- How many MS Cluster Networker licenses you have?
- Do you have installed the Networker client before or after the installation/initialation of the MS Cluster (I mean: Was the server defined as cluster or stand-alone server at the time the Networker client was installed)?

regards
Michael

the correct command is :

nsxchsv.exe -c NameOfVirtualExchangeServer
