I have a page where I am calling two stored procedures from SQL Server database. First procedure doesn't take any time but second requires a lot of processing hence it takes around 4-5 mins. depending on data.

I want to free the visitor after the first process so that he/she can logout or can visit some other pages.

Can I do background processing after starting the second process and give control to the visitor?
