Ok, here's what's happening:
I created a site in Photoshop and then sliced it up in Imageready. I chose to work with CSS positioning as I could use a background image in certain layers so that html content could be iframed over it.
What I find is that in IE the background images don't show up but they do in Firefox. Here is the link to the site for any who want to look at the code:
