Background Image and DIVs 2

Hello,

Using CSS2 in my <body> tag specification I have an image that is visible through the whole page.

On some of my <div> sections I want the image to be visible but instead the <div> area floats on top (and covers) the <body> background image.

How can I fix this?

I use

background-color:none;

Not sure if there is a difference or whether both are valid.

[tt]background-color: transparent;[/tt]

is the official value. [tt]none[/tt] is non-standard, but may work on some browsers (IE, for example).

Hmm, yeah i checked it too and you are right.
none seems to work and validate across the board though.
However since I am a standards evangelist I will use transparent from now on
