Backend not updating

Hello there

well i have a problem my backend file is not updating, it is in the same filefolder as the Database and it hasent been moved since its creation. I tried re link them but the message box comes up saying that i have no linked tables

It sounds like you are opening a database that is not split? Is that possibly the case - Do you see linked tables when you open is design mode or just regular table icons? If your design version is not split then you need to split it. You can split your design version and toss away the linked _be that is created - then relink to your 'real' data _be files by using the relink tool.

what i see are just regular icons when i open the file. where is this relink tool that you speak of? thanks again for the help

NeverMind i got it, thanks for the help though. i guess that when i did it the first time there was an error that i was not aware of.
