Hi all,
first, happy new year...
Actually, our server is a Windwos 2000 Server with a BAB v9.01 SP5.
Recently, we bought the version 11.1.
We have some little instability problems with our current installation, so I want to reinstall all the software, including the OS.
My question is :
In a new installtion of BAB v11.1, is it better to replace Windows 2000 by Windows 2003 ?
Thanks in advance for your comments...
Herve

This isn't a question about ARCserve then ?

Sorry but I think yes...
Maybe, due to my poor english, there is a littlle confusion.
I don't ask if Windows 2003 Server is better than 2000 but I ask about the compatibility between Arcserve and these OS.
Wich is the better to work with arcserve ?
Or is it the same thing ?
Thanks

In terms of ARCserve working better on Win2K or Win2003, I would say there is little or nothing to choose between the two in terms of stability or performance - ie it will work pretty much the same on both versions.
