BAB r11.5 Build 3884 - DB Engine Crashed During Backup Job

I am currently using BrightStor ArcServe Backup r11.5 Build 3884. The database engine is crashing during backups.

Is it probable that my database is corrupt, or is there something else that may be causing this issue? What is the best method for resolving the issue on this version of ArcServe?

Most stuff in the doc above applies to r11.5, 11.5 has a couple of extra databases not mentioned in the doc but asides from that the doc should help you out.

I think you have three options:
1) repair
2) initialize
3) replace

1) us the database utilities, dbcheck to find the problem databases then dchain, keybuild, and dbfix to repair them. Does not always work, command line, takes a long time.
2) quick but you loose all the data, usually works.
3) you have to install ARCserve some place else to get a blank database and then replace the orginal with it.
