I recently upgraded from version 9 to 11.5. I've noticed in d:\program files\ca\brightstor backup agent for exchange. I have an EXCESSIVE amount of files. The pattern is at#number.number. such as, AT#77569.6160; AT#7757.3604. The date and time stamps appear to coincide with the brick level backup start and stop times when I used version 9. There are so many of these files in this folder that it causes my tcp/ip connection to revert to named pipes during backup. Short-term, I have removed this folder from my backup. What are these files and can they be safely deleted? I tried to open an issue with CA today but they are having problems on their web site and since this is not a show stopper, I did not want to hang on the phone. Can anyone offer any insight on this one? thank you

check that debug is not enabled in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Computer Associates\ etc for the exchange agent, if it is disable it (set it to 0) and stop/start the agent service.
