Weird problem:
Bab 11.1 fresh install, empty database gfs rotation, all blank tapes, no append to media (one job one tape).
Well, the job ends succesfully with no error, but the tape and his serial number (bar code reader and label installed) does not go in the db !
Under the "database" view I can see the tape, but with no serial number and with no media pool assigned. Going in the save set of the active pool I can't see the media just used in the save set, and I have no .cat to merge. This is a real problem for us, because if the tape does not go in the database can't enter in the rotation schema, and will not be claimed for the regular rotation.
In addition, no errors in the db check, and no error in the job log. When the tape is formatted the log entry reports the rigth pool.
I alsto tried to merge (!) the session. As result now the media has the rigth serial number (!!!) but no pool at all.
Any iseas ???
Tnx in advance.
