B179 Conf Phone won't use User Short codes

Hello,
I have a customer that has users short codes set up on there phones so they don't have to dial 9 to get out.
I recently deployed a B179 conf phone out, and added the same short codes to its user, but they aren't working the unit will only dial out with a 9 which is still set as a system short code. Has anyone else run into this?

if they have user short codes to remove the need for 9 why not simply change the system short code so that 9 is not required?


A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

It will use user shortcodes. The issue will be as it's a SIP phone it will dial en-bloc so you're probably matching another shortcode as there is no 9 then a pause etc as there is with a Dig/IP phone etc
