B/U Exec. & Shared Directories

Will Backup Exec. 9.0 backup shared directories? I can't find any evidence of this and I am in a situation where this feature is needed. I looked at Veritas' website and tried to chat with a sales rep online and they weren't much help. Anyone with experience?

Hi, What exactly are you trying to do?

As far as I know it backs up shares with no problem. Well I haven't had any problems backing them up.
