Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to write batch file that will allow me to install software with a .exe file remotely. I have a list of all desktops device names on the network that need the upgrade added and instead of visiting each machine I'd like to do it remotely from my desktop. I'm admin on all the computers and they are a combination of W2K and XP. Appreciate any suggestions, articles, scripts or insight.

If you have a domain, you could use the AD to push the programs out to each system.

Also...writing in all bold is a bit of a nuisance, please resist the urge from now on. Thanks.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Why do you like everything in bold. Normal script will do.

If it's possible to install the software using the command prompt, you can start the telnet service and install that way. Another way I've done it in the past is to create an installation batch file, and run it from a scheduled task overnight.
