I bought an Azza mother board about a year ago. The KT3ABX model. I noticed that one of the bios updates said that it will now support Athlon XP processors. Does anyone know which Athlon XP processors it will support. Can it go all the way up to the 2200 model? Thanks

Hey Huffbr
If the BIOS update tells you that the motherboard will support Athlon XP processors in general, without stating a limit,I'd be cautious as to how far you could go. If it didn't support them before and now it does, then what do you assume?

The safe option would be to go to the very site that supplied the bios update and email their tech support to find out for sure.Your borad may support the later Processors but may not support the bus speed etc. It's best to find out for sure,as there are several revisions of some AthlonXP chips which have varying FSB speeds. They might work but not to full potential.

Hope this is of help to you
