Hi
I have a bar graph that displays the data correctly. I just want to add a label on the right hand side of the y-axis. The graph creates labels on the left, but i would like an additional label on the right that labels the information in different units. Any idea how i can do this? thanks

Hi grindstonegirl,

Here's a general approach I use to "extend the boundaries" of Excel graphs...

I simply adjust the size of the graph and re-position it, to allow for placement of text above, below, or on the sides. The text can either be in a cell or a text box.

It's preferable to have the text in cells, as it allows for the use of VBA to change the data for the graph title, or special label(s), at the same time it's used for generating the data for the graph itself.

I find this approach very useful when there's a need to generate multiple graphs - especially when such graphs need to be regenerated on a repetitive basis - i.e. weekly, monthly or whenever.

I hope this helps.:) Please advise as to how you make out.
