Hi all, I have a 3300 (MCD 4.0) connected to a MAS server (1.2UR1) The web portion of the AWC has stopped working. Im sure it was working a few weeks ago before it was upgraded to UR1. Im running in server gateway mode and there is no firewall between the MAS servers external interface and the internet. The AWC internal port is 4443 and the external port is 443. MSL creates the rules for this so im unsure why it's not working. I have a DNS entry for both the MAS server and the AWC.

The problem i have is when i run the test browser from a remote location and even a local location it fails. The error message is not very helpful.

Has anyone come across the same problem?

Have you allocated 2 IP addresses as per documentation.

Knowledge is power, thats why we share!

Hi Voipin,

Yes i have two external IPs assigned with DNS. Funny thing is it was working before the upgrade to UR1.

Any other ideas?

I think you will find if you call tech support, that the "fix" in UR1 that was supposed to eliminate the need for the manual "setupCP" required to bind the second IP address to the WAN NIC(what was given in PR1), is not completely reliable. I wasn't the tech on it so don't know the actual details, but another procedure was required to get it actually working.

Did you try stop/starting the AWC services from the server manager?

Dave

You can't believe anything you read... unless of course it's this sentence.

Hi RossBC, you may of hit the nail on the head here. In 1.2 i applied the setupcp fix and all was well, upgraded to 1.2UR1 and it has stopped working. Perhaps i will have no choice but raise a ticket with Mitel. (NB:Make sure you remove the setupcp before upgrading or your system will lock the config options, i learnt the hard way)

I'm running into a problem where I can't even join a conference from the get go. i get error:

"Connection to server not complete.

There was a problem in your computer's attempt to connect to the Web Conferencing server.

You may need to ensure that any proxy server or firewall software you are using has not closed the port required by Web Conferencing for outgoing connections. If the problem persists, visit Mitel Web site at for troubleshooting guidelines. "

We don't use a proxy and I've joined AWC conferences for other servers with no issues other than the usual Firefox install procedures.

Any leads on this error?

Thanks.
