avicap32.dll - Where the h$ll am I suppose to learn this stuff... 1

Hi

Can anyone shed some light on where a young programmer like myself is supposed to learn all this extra VB stuff that was never even mentioned in MCSD?

Like for instance, I now use the sendmessage function to send messages to let my webcam begin recording,and it works, but I have no clue as to what I am actually doing here???

I get that you have to "talk" to avicap32.dll, and it returns the frames, but what is all the functions and messages used to "tallk" to it. I want to save an AVI file, but I don't know what to send as the message...

Where can I find instructions, papers on avicap32.dll

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
