Avaya VMP IVR + Windows Server 2008 64 bit version + MySQL Community Server + MySQL Connector
Hello Avaya users. I got Avaya IPO R 8.1 connected to MySQL Connector (Port 3306) and is able to connect to CSV database file hosted in phpMyAdmin 4.0.8.
Avaya VMP is able to open, execute and then get all data info, but everytime there's a call flowing through IVR feature, Voicemail Pro GOES BUSY. I can hear a static noise when the call passes through the the Caller ID matching Call Flow I've designed.
And then it gets stuck.
On Windows Administrave Tools I may notice that Voicemail Pro Service keeps running and I can't manage it to quit. I've already tried quitting MySQL Server 1st, but even if I do this VMP keeps going busy (BUSY On phones and frozen on VMP app).
If I host my database outside my office then VM Pro works just fine. But I preffer to have it hosted locally.
Any ideas? :)

Is mysql the express or the licensed one?
Mysql express needs to be local on de the same server as vmrpo. Also on de vmpro db did you used the close action?

To Bas1234 > If I use CLOSE Action will I still be able to see my Clients name and Health Insurance Co's name?
Ex:
Schecdule Appointment
ALLIANZ Health Martha Steward

Thank you

I see this information on my IP Phones and also on OX Portal as I pick the calls up.

Is there a chance Windows FTP Server (port 69) is causing the issue? Ive deactivated this feature now and soon I will reconnect VMP to Localhost database and wish for the best.

Yes you should still see the info, the vmpro just looks up the info.

Well Bas1234, AVAYA can show users the callers info as tags that come from the Database. But Ive never tried using CLOSE action as this always happens when the call is disconnected.

Ive checked VMP IVR configuration and yes, CLOSE ACTION has been implemented on all auto attendants actions that require DB Open action. But still I can see an issue with it. I have phpMyAdmin installed on the same Server as VMP is. And I also use MySQL connector on it and it's configured as localhost connection and it connects perfectly.
I wonder if I really need to have MySQL connector running in order to connect Local SQL database to VMP IVR.
