How do you configure a SIP end point within the PBX which connects to a Thrid party end point. I don't want to set up a SIP trunk. I need the provisioning to mirror a line-side T1 for and IVR type connection.

The phone registers to Session Manager. Session manager runs that phone's actions through CM/the PBX.

A SIP trunk would be easier, but you could just build a SIP phone with something like 24 line keys and do similar stuff. A trunk would be better for reporting and/or recording.

I just want a SIP configuration but not a SIP trunk group, if that is possible. If I put a SIP trunk in for connecting the IVR to the PBX it will break the CT-Connect feature functionality currently in place. Is there a way to provision a SIP end point within the PBX to look like a line-side T1 or is that just not possible?
