Anybody using Avaya One X Portal or Mobile in a non AES CM 5.2.1 environment?

Good? Bad? How well do they work? Any problems with it? How's supporting the environment(admin and user side)? Have you tried to use them some how in a call center environment?

Any comments would be great.

Thanks,

a little challenging on the LDAP side but once its setup, it works like a champ. how many domains do you have? youll want to start converting all the phone #s to e.164 format. there are some freeware tools that can export and import so you can change via Excel. have to carefully plan your install..you can do 1 server if you have a proxy that you can put a cert on, or 2 servers with 1 in the DMZ.

Thanks TDMorIP. I have not begun to set it up. But network wise we have more than a few domains....

You mention converting extensions to e.164 format... We run a 6 digit dial plan with multi-location turned on (4 digit within the site). Is this to make the dial plan easier when providing global access?
