We are self maintained and currently use United Asset Coverage as our insurance provider. We receintly recieved notification from UAC that if we continue to be insured by them that Avaya will not provide us support of any type should we need it. I have confirmed this with Avaya. So, it looks like we will need to move to some type of maintenance contract thru Avaya or one of their business partners. I've seen references on this forum to what is termed as an "Avaya Maintenance Assist" agreement. I can find no information on this particular agreement on Avaya's web site. I do find what they term as "Remote Only Support" Does anyone know if the two are the same?

The above thread may shed some light on this for you. Avaya has been cracking down on systems that have MSP's turned on and no type of maintenance agreements in place. Please post if you need more.

Thanks, Mikey. That's helpful, but I'm still wondering if "Maintenance Assist" and "Remote Only Support" are one in the same.
