Hi Everyone,

This is a pre-sales question. Does anyone know if Avaya IPO R9.1 Server Edition supports a SIP integration with Microsoft Exchange to use it as the voicemail (and auto-attendant , I imagine). I am working with a customer who has an older version of Avaya Communication Manager that has Exchange as their voicemail using an Audio codes gateway and vectoring for their IVR/auto-attendants. We would prefer to upgrade them to IP office as they only have 250 users, but the customer has made it clear he wants to continue using Exchange as voicemail and i have tried to tell him that we can use voicemail pro and Exchange UMS to synchronize messages and use exchange as the message store,etc.... no go.

With that said, i will need to know if it is possible to have IPO integrate with exchange 2010 via SIP trunks for voicemail with MWI and auto-attendants.

Any insight or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Shouldn't be any problem connecting IPO to the same AudioCodes gateway.
MWI I'm not that optimistic about though.

I think MWI can only set through short codes... Don't know if the gateway will do that.
