I have spent several minutes on AVAYA's website trying to search for the any documentation on AVAYA's website.

I have a VoiceMail Pro server that crashed 2 days ago. I was able to boot into safe mode and reverted back to the last known good configuration. So now I can get back into the server. But before I have to reboot it I want to backup IP Office and VoiceMail Pro. I can't find any documentation on AVAYA's website. Where can I go to get it?

I need to make sure it is backed up properly. Any help would be great.

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

All it mentions is the DB and the registry file. I cannot do the registry file since I do not have the upgrade CD. What do I do for that?

Also, it has no mention of the WAV files or anything else that needs to be backed up. Is it just the DB remember, this server could go to the crapper so I want to be able to bring up a new one with out issue.

Code:
@echo off
SET DestDir=%WINDIR%\Temp

REGEDIT /E "%DestDir%\VMPro.arf" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Avaya\Voicemail Pro"
REGEDIT /E "%DestDir%\NetAly.arf" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Alchemy\Voicemail"
REGEDIT /E "%DestDir%\IMSGateway.arf" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVAYA\Integrated Messaging\Gateway"
imssec export
Code:
@echo off
SET DestDir=%WINDIR%\Temp

REGEDIT /S "%DestDir%\VMPro.arf"
REGEDIT /S "%DestDir%\NetAly.arf"
REGEDIT /S "%DestDir%\IMSGateway.arf"
imssec.exe import

to preserve the greetings, names and messages
copy the Names, Accounts and Greetings folders

if you have any call flows etc - you'll want the WAV folder too (or copies of the custom recorded wavs)

Just copy the complete VM folder in the vmpro folder
Then oyu will have all the wavs,greetings name etc etc etc

No need for the registry because it is a complete different machine and you need to reinstall it anyway.

True, but if you keep the registry files - any tweaks that have been carried out (like length of message etc) get carried to the new installation - rather than a default install
