I've got a version, its at the office though, so I'll have to look for it. But even to use it, you have to have the RTU's turned on in the switch.. This is why it confuses me why Avaya is being so anal with this. You can't use it unless you have the RTU's, which AVAYA has to turn on...
RTU = Right to use, just a feature that they turn on, to display whether you have the RTU's for this product you can do this command.. "Display system-parameters customer-options" and go to the last page. then you should see something like "IP_AGENT" As with your version 2 thing, I'm not sure what version of Definity you need to run it. I think the version I have is version 2.. and I have a r9.5 switch.
The issue we are having is that the version 1.1 IP Agent will not work with our new vpn solution. It use to work with our old solution. I know it isn't an issue with our vpn because I can get the IP Softphone R3 to work through it and all of our other apps. I was guessing that version 1.1 of the IP Agent is just capable of working with this VPN.
