We have Avaya IP Agent release 3. Currently the setup is this: 2 analog phone lines in the home. One for data dailup, the other for voice connection via an analog phone. Some agents have been having connection problems with their data line. We have upgraded them to Roadrunner high speed. Wanted to know the possibility of installing a headset to the PC and transmitting voice over Roadrunner, through PC into the headset. Or would we install the headset to the RR modem? Would any configuration changes need to be made in the IP Agent software? Would like to get rid of both analog lines if this is a possibility.
Thanks

A lot depends on your bandwidth in the home office. If you are using broad band and have QoS set up passing voice over the internet will work. I would recomend using a USB headset.
