Avaya IMS and Activesync

My voicemails are sent to my Inbox using IMS. This WAS then synchronising with my PDA using Orange Office Freedom and all worked fine.

I've changed the sync'ing between Inbox and PDA to use Activesync and, whilst all other emails are fine, the IMS messages don't transfer to the PDA.

Has anyone else experienced this?

you need to have ims client running on the pda. But unfortunately there is no pda version

I'm not looking to delete the voicemail when the email is deleted, just to be notified that it is there as per Orange Office Freedom; however no email at all is transferred to the PDA.
This shouldn't require the client software as it is just a standard email, or so I thought ;-)
