Avaya GRT

I need to final register a few items using the avaya GRT system. However I am confused.

I have a new SAL gateway setup and working, I added it and received a new SEID number for my gateway along with an Alarm ID number to enter into the new SAL I built. Now I want to start adding the CM and remote servers. But I cannot seam to figure out how to get the SEID number for my CM. If it was already assigned one I do not know where to look to get it. And I know to look in the system under customer options, or the server role page of the CM it self, it is currently not the correct number which is why I need to change it. I was trying to find it under the sold to number but had no luck, any help would be appreciated.

You won't find it in CM. You'll find it in GRT.

In GRT, the CM will have a SEID. In your SAL gateway, you add the CM, it's IP, and that SEID you got from the GRT. Then you point your CM alarming to the SAL gateway and it basically makes a two way connection to alarm out to Avaya and let them in thru t salgw to access and support you.

Ok, So I guess my next step is to add the CM to the GRT as well so it can generate a SEID for me to use in the SAL? As it appears the CM was never added to GRT or at least I cannot find it.

Would you happen to have a Material Code for Avaya CM 6.3 Duplex for the Virtual Environment? I can only find Material codes for the physical servers.

I would not. Best to check your SAP orders.

I checked the SAP and the LAC on the PLDS site, I found a Material Code, however when I enter it into GRT it says this is not a valid code. Wonder if I need to open a ticket with Avaya.

I'm thinking more the SAP order from ASD that Avaya processed with the detailed bill of materials and all of Avaya's crazy order numbers and codes - one of 'em will work!
