We have several locations setup and each location has their own POTS line - Each location has it's own trunk group and route-pattern just for 911 and (9)11
The POTS lines has the BTN of each location and they are plugged into the MM711 card on the Gateways and configured with the numbers.
I have a new location and we just had the vendor out that ran 4 POTS lines
How can spoof the numbers for the mean time to display their address without having to run the RJ411 line into the media gateway?
Right now I have them going out a central trunk trunk and giving out the address if the call 911 - But if someone calls 911 from the location I want the numbers I have to be able to out pulse the address (BTN) of the building. I have heard of people spoofing the numbers - If I do not have the lines plugged into the Gateway is that possible?

I have the numbers configured in my trunk and I have the route-pattern setup for them, just need them to get some longer cables to go from the CenturyLink to my Gateway MM711 card.

Any advise of help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Not if you're going out analog, no, you can't spoof the number. Even on PRI, you need special configs at the provider end for them to not explicitly send BTN to 911 so you could send a different DID per floor, as an exmaple.
