troutdalesteve,

I've used the following ds1 settings when hooking up to a dialogic card in a witness call recording system. It's not PRI as you mentioned... Never heard of a PRI with a d channel hooking up to a dialogic card... though there is always something new...

Basically a amphenol connector from the back of the PBX to the RJ48 connector on the dialogic card.

DS1 config:

Location: 02A09 Name: witness
Bit Rate: 1.544 Line Coding: ami-zcs
Line Compensation: 1 Framing Mode: d4
Signaling Mode: robbed-bit

Interface Companding: mulaw
Idle Code: 11111111

Slip Detection? n Near-end CSU Type: other

Cabling:

Amphenol RJ48
Pin 48…………. Pin 1
Pin 23…………. Pin 2
Pin 47…………. Pin 5
Pin 22…………. Pin 4

Then assign the stations type as DS1FD in my example the port on the first station would be 02a0901... and so on for a total of 24 "lineside" stations. Assign COR and COS according to what the lines will need to do... such as a COR that is setup for service observing etc... permission to call offnet etc...

Not sure what version or model of dialogic card we are connected to...

Thanks,

Wildcard
