Good morning

Let me start by saying this has been a year's long project of mine. I have finally found and purchased all the proper equipment with proper licenses:

Prologix G3 switch with TN2402 Processor R9.5, TN2182C Tone Clock, & TN799DP – CLAN
Avaya Intuity MAP5P – R5.1.56 SW – CLSN – 4 Port W/ (2) new backup tapes with 713 terminal rendering the 799DP useless for now

I am willing to pay a tech to walk me through this process to get everything up and running properly. I don't need anything complicated, just 5 extensions with an auto attendant and voicemail. I know this is overkill for only 5 stations, but this is what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

I'm logged in and I set my first station/extension. That's all I've done. I also don't think I have it wired up correctly from the back.

Since I'm unfamiliar with how to breakout a 25 pair using a punch block, I'm using the harmonica adapters.

And can you successfully do a save trans?

Would you mind sharing a few details?
"display sys cust"
"display alarms"
"list conf all"
and share these? Maybe hide your SID if it shows.

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out. Here's the reports you asked for, thanks!

Awesome. Someone else will need to chime in on the Intuity side of this. That's something I am not as familiar with on this old of a switch. They are usually an adjunct and will be administered separate from the CM/Definity.

For the "Display alarms" -- type the command, enter submit. Then share the results.

For an auto attendant driven out of the PBX you need a TN2501 or TN750. This will let you store announcements for menus. Then, using "change vector XX" you can write a vector (call routing/decision tree/menu/auto attendant). Attach it to an extension with "add vdn XXXX".

Are you printing and scanning these? Can you access the system over IP yet? Try and get a link light on your TN799/CLAN and your data switch. After that, assign it an IP and enable it for telnet SAT. "add ip-interface" and "change ip-services", if my mind is recalling this right.

Yes, I'm currently printing these and scanning them in. I will need to set up a computer in here to access via LAN
