Dear memebers,
I have a doubt regarding the configuration or trunks in multiple site, the scenario is like this,

Customer has two branches, Riyadh and Dubai. CM release 6.2 embedded configured G450/S8300D/MM711 in Riyadh (Main Site) and Dubai (LSP /G430/S8300D/MM711 )

G450 g/w in Riyadh, which has analog trunks configured and working fine. FAC 9 is used to dial out. From any extension Press 9 and dial the number its working fine

G430/S8300D/MM711 in Dubai , configured as LSP which has analog trunks .

Now my doubt is how to configure the FAC 9 in Dubai so that when user press 9 the system should take the analog trunk from Dubai Gateway / MM711.
How can I configure this?

There are a few different options:

Tenant Partitioning
ARS Partitioning using the Partition tables and CORs
Location Routing using the Network Regions

I assume that you are using '9' as the ARS feature Access code and not a trunk group access code.

How can i do the location routing using network location.

can anyone explain more on this.

Hi, you need to complete a few steps to define network locations;

1) Change Locations, Location 1 = core site, then just label location 2 as the LSP Site
2) change "IP-Network-MAP" here you should define the IP ranges for all locations and assign them as such.
3) change IP-Network-Region X
IP Network Region 1 should have "Location 1"
IP Network Regioin 2 should have "Location 2"

now all stations/trunks that fall within the IP addresse ranges defined will be treated as if in that location.

now you can complete "change ars analysis location X"
when the top level ARS Analysis table is empty, stations will refer to their location ARS Analysis table, in each table, route the calls to different route patterns, these route patterns can then refer to the different trunks that are configured.

BTW, the 9 is set as a feature access code to access the ARS Analysis table. So as soon as you press 9, the phone will send the remaining digits it receives to the ARS Analysis table for them to be routed correctly.

Just an overview, so give it a go and if you get stuck happy to assist further.

one more question i set ars analysis for both loc ...its working fine

customer asked me on question location 1 and location 2 in different countries
when the costumer want to call a mobile number in country 1 from country 2 he don't want to use the local trunk as it will be charged for international call, he want the phone to use the trunk in the other country so that it will be charged as a local call, since the trunk and mobile in same country.

How can i do this ?

define the number in ars and use a route pattern that routes across your tie line or h.323 line

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

the problem is that mobile and landlines in both countries are al,most similar, mobile numbers are 10 digit starting with 05 and landlines start with 01, 02 , 03 and max digits 9. i want to set for any mobile or any land line and not one particular number

I assume that from Country 1 they will dial +44 or +45 or whatever to dial the country 2 monbile right?

So for example, say country 1 is Germany calling a mobile in country 2 which is the UK.

Country 1 dials 0044xxxxxxxxxx

in ARS for Country 1 set an entry that says;

dialled string = 0044
Min = 14
Max = 14
Route pattern = X
Call Type = Public

then on route pattern X

Group number = trunk of country 2
FRL = X
Delete = 4
Instered Digits = 0

This will change the number from 0044xxxxxxxxxx to 0xxxxxxxxxx and send it to country 2 trunk and pay national rates instead of international rates.
