Avaya AIC (Voice Quick Start)

Please help chaps,

I am looking at installing Avaya Interaction Centre (Voice Screen Pop only) was going to use CT Connect but thought AIC would be better for future technology.

could anyone give me the programming for the LAN Gateway (ASAI)and vector commands. I presume its the Adjunct command. I understand how the whole thing fits together its just the programming of the LAN gateway and vectors. Also what features need to be enabled by Avaya.

AIC does not work with Lan Gateway.

The MAP-D board supports 2 modes, Lan Gateway an CVLAN.
AIC connects directly with a MAPD running CVLAN.
So it does not need a telephony server.

A MAP-D can run Lan Gateway and CVLAN, at the same time.

any chance you know what software needs to be turned on on the definity. i.e ASAI core and enhanced capabilities under customer options. Does the CVLAN or MAPD need to have a certain level of software i.e Release 2.0 issue 2.01

is all that is needed to perform an information pass to AIC an adjust route command in a vector.

The DEFINITY would need ASAI-Core and ASAI-Plus.

With the latest AIC you need CVLAN R8, so your MAP-D needs an upgrade.

Now contact you sales rep, cause there are some nice discounts Avaya gives you on ASAI software when you decide to buy AIC. Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.
