Avaya 9650 VPN Password

Has anyone run into not being able to use the '@' character in a VPN password? I got a lot of choices, but this character is not one of them when I press 1 on the keypad. Is this not an allowable character? Should the 46xxsettings file be adjusted somehow?

You need to check the Admin guide for the phone on avaya support site.

But i bet there is more than one way to skin this cat.!
