Avay MM and TN boards hardware verions policiy

All,

We have a customer with 14 x MM710B DS1 boards most of these are HW13 but there are a few on HW11. - all on FW47

They are concerned about the different versions and want to know what Avaya's policy is on changing HW versions....ie. should they have the newest board.

My understanding of HW versions is...its to do with the manufactured components or design of the physical boards and firwmware is the features and software specific to the boards function....as documented on new releases

Is there anything documented to say what has changed with HW versions

no what has changed... sometimes it is just components because suppliers were changed or a component is not available anymore

there is a doc on minimal hard and software vintages per release check avaya support for that
