Can any body tell me how can I check the avaiable mail boxes in a Meridiam Mail 13?.

I need to find out if I'm ok with the remainig mail boxes becase I'm gonna have to add a few more but if I need some license I would like to know

Well it never even occurred to me to ask - I've always just created a new mailbox any time I built a new phone. I guess I assumed they were limited only by how much physical hardware space there was to record the messages on. I reckon there is a practical limit but if there is a licensing limit as well I hope somebody answers.

Well in that case where can I check the amount of space used for every mail box.

Logon to MerMail...go to 2 Gen Admin...go to 2 Vol & Selective Backup...in there you will see your usage and number of mailboxes you have. Hope that is what you wanted.

If I remember right it depends on what kind of mail
you have, is it a card option( option 11) or an EC
(option 21-81)don't remember the amount but it is in the
range of 5000-10000, there is no licenses. You can go to
the backup menu and see how many mail boxes and total
storage used, but if you want to see per mail box you
need to go to user admin and go to FIND and print the users
it will show you the current amount of storage used by each mailbox and ther COS which if you look at the class
of service you can see how much storage is allowed for
users with that COS. You can also go to the TOOLS Menu
and goto system record and see the # of hours storage
you have.
