one of my remote sites has (i've been told by a trustworthy) a two-cabinet Option 11. I definitely have cards in two cabinets but when I just did an LUC what came back actually looks like there are SIX cabinets. Any ideas why? Thank you.

IF YOU ONLY HAVE 2 CABINETS THEN CARD SLOTS 13-20 IN CABINET 2 ARE SPARE PLUS SLOT 1 IN CABINET 1. THE OPTION 11 DOESN'T KNOW THAT THE OTHER CABINETS ARE NOT THERE

perry is right, it's just reading the default cequ on an opt 11. if you've just got 2 cab's, then the last ava card would be 19, if my mem is not corrupt

right, I got that part about which slots are available but didn't understand why all those other slots were coming up. I guess there is no way for me to actually tell how many physical cabinets I have at all my remote sites (and asking someone on-site to count is not an option). Thanks guys.

If you stat the CPU, in LD 135, it will tell you what expansion cards are installed.

thanks, mluckie! that is extremely helpful.
