Availability of EC500 extensions for G3R Release8

We are using G3R release 8,when we forward the calls from the station, we want the caller Number ( ANI) to appear on the forwarded destination in case of trunk to trunk transfers. Presently we are getting the trunk number only. I read in this forum that EC500 extensions can be used to solve the problem.
How it is configured & whether its available in release 8?

EC500 was introduced in MV 1.1, I believe. It may have been as late as MV 1.3. It is not available in Rls 8.
