I am trying to setup ringing over our paging system using a new bcm50 6.0. Our paging is working well. I have a V-2001A single zone (plus) page control unit to add ringing to the paging system. Our paging is working well through the box. I have attached the aux ringing from the bcm50 bix panel to the input of the v-2001a. I have selected aux ring for the hunt group that I am using. Is there more to it than that as it is not working. Is there a setting somewhere else to enable aux ringing in Business Element. Is there supposed to be voltage from the bcm aux ring port when the extension is ringing as I have none? Or is a circuit that goes to ground? Any insight would be great...tks...

Aux Ringing using Valcom V-2001A Page Control Unit

Put a short with your needlenose across the UNA/warble terminals on the page control and see if you hear ringing on the loudspeakers.
If so connect the aux ring from the bcm bix panel to the UNA/warble terminals on the page control. Now when the hunt group rings, the aux ring relay will close and trigger the v-2001 page control to generate ringing to the loudspeakers. Hope this helps.
